Very Basic Wiring Question

Not really 911 specific, but it is for my 911...

Apologies, but can anyone tell me which part of a DC power plug should be wired positive?

About to hard-wire in my Origin b2. Got a DC power plug to go into the unit and some wire, but don't know which part should be wired positive.

Thanks.

I have no idea what an "Origin b2" is, but typically a white wire is positive and the black wire is ground.

Sorry, don't think my question is clear. But thanks for your reply Stephan!

I wish to simply wire up a DC coaxial power plug, but am unsure which part of it should be wired positive. I think it's the central pin.

Anyone confirm?

I think the center would be the power and the outer shell is ground
