76 930 Turbo

Hello,

I am not new to this forum, but as you can see I do not
post much.
I have a 1976 930 that I have owned for many years and have
enjoyed it very much, however the time has come to part with it.

Please give me some feedback as to its value, as the market is very fickle right now.
It is a 76 black/tan with 110,650 miles.
Not a concourse car but in very nice condition with excellent paint
and original interior.

Thanks for the input.

If I were trying to buy it I would try to get it for $15K. If I were trying to sell it I would ask $25K I would guess you could get somewhere in the middle.

Of course you could keep it and dump tons of money into it. That is what I would do

I have owned the car for 17 years and my intent was to keep
it forever, and acquire a little more exotic car also.
Unfortunately I can't justify having that much $$$$ sitting.
So I must sell.
My son will be driving soon and he is wanting a 944,(I know I
raised him right since he doesn't want a Honda).
So I will not be leaving the P-car world completely.

It may cost more to maintain a 944 than a 930.

I know, but that will be his problem, he will have to learn
to do some work himself and I will certainly enjoy helping
him keep the car going.
I believe if he has to focus on working and fiddling with his
car he will stay out of trouble.

Here is a pic. you can see more pix at www.exoticautobrokers.com

I dont know, my 944 was great no problems at all. but my 930 needs its own bank account. Those 944's are built like tanks as far as I am concerned. Plus they are a blast to drive.
