Server Performance...

How's the server today? I'm showing a lot of bandwidth usage - I had to shut it down temporarily while debugging.

Also, my home DSL is doggy today, so I'm having problems monitoring it...

Please let me know how performance is *right now*.

Thanks,

-Wayne

works fine if you discount the random outage (never more than a minute or 2)

sssssllllllllllloooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwww.

Sorry Wayne, but I've had a rough time accessing the forums since early last night, using DSL at my son's place and satellite modem at home.

edit: Dang, just after I b!tch about the performance in this post, it's starting to run much better. Hope it lasts!

384 fractional T here. Running great on both IE 6 and Mozilla.

I think you've got server issues...or a western dns or router is hosed, because I've had problems getting the site. First "site not found" and then "no web server at this address"

Sure you don't want to run a real server OS?

LOL Remind me what the router and DNS has to do with the server OS??? :D

Right - I had to switch off the server for about 10 minutes to troubleshoot (I had to see if you guys were hogging the bandwidth).

Seems like the problem may be solved for today (everyone on the left coast is going home now...)
