3rd Oil Cooler for 3.6L?

I'm getting ready to go out to the garage to replace my munged front cooler. In my box o' parts, I still have the 'old' Mocal 44-row cooler which used to reside in the driver's side front fender. I have the bits on-hand to plumb it in along with the Sarrera and Setrab coolers I has posted long ago about doing this, and several people suggested not to. I talked to Chuck last week and he couldn't think of any harm that would come from it.

Basically, I have the cooler already. The mounting tabs have been modded, so unless someone was going to mount it up like I did, it's a big paperweight. I have the fittings, and I have some extra line. Any reason why I should not install it?

Do I need the extra cooling? Probably not; on the track in the summer, I'm seeing 220, maybe 230, but that was before the Elephant oil lines. On the street it's not needed.

I thought about rigging a valve to turn on the extra cooler at the track.

Comments welcome.

Sounds like extra weight and extra work to me. I bet you could get a few dollars for the cooler.
