911 clock upgrade??

I picked up a clock from a 1991 964.I would like to replace the broken clock in my 1975 with it. I have figured out which pins to use to power the clock and the lights but have no idea how to set the clock to the correct time. Has anyone done this conversion and could you let me know how to set the clock. thanks for any help. Joe W

I think the 964 clock is set by pressing a button on the dash. It then proceeds to spin around at a high pace, and you release the button when you're at the correct time.

Keep playing with the pins. Shorting one might send the clock spinning.

not sure why you would want a clock with a bunch of warning lights (that aren't hooked up to anything).....but hey.....it's not my call ;)

here is the wiring diagram showing the adjustment switch:

Sorta like switching out the old classic Rollex for one of those red, glow-in-the dark, comes in a cereal box , watches.
