Buy a C2 for the engine?

Has anyone considered buying a good C2 so they could slavage the engine from it and part the rest out? Is there even a market for the C2 Parts? What about getting a wrecked car? Where might I look for a wrecked C2?

I know it seems silly to buy a nice car and part it out, but insurance would be far too silly for me to own a C2 and I like the idea of hottrodding my car.

Any opinions?

Adam

i was thinking the same thing...

if you found a smashed C2 you could probably salvage the engine/transmission, the interior, electrical, guages
just a thought.
