heads
I have a 70 2.2T, that has bigger P/Cs bringing it up to 2.4. The 'Cs' are cast iron, and the motor was recently rebuilt. It has the original 2.2 heads, cams and crank.
I can buy a set of 72 2.4 E heads and a 69E cam. When I looked up the spec.s, the cams are different, but the heads in both cases say 46/40 for valve size and 32/32 for port size. Is there a difference? With cast iron cylinders, the original crank and a 2.4 +/- will the cam work or will I have valve clearance problems?

2.2T heads actually flow more air than 2.2E, 2.4T and 2.4E heads.
What p/c's do you have?

That is a good question. The case says 911/07, which means it's a 70 2.2, but the cylinders are cast iron, and the person who sold me the car says that it is now a 2.4. The motor was just rebuilt. So I have I lot of questions. It still has the original Zeniths on it. I am trying to track down the person who rebuilt it-hopefully he will have some answers.
