SC Flywheel bolts heads stripped

OK I admit it, I was trying to use my 6pt T55 Torx bit (couldn't find the 12 pt from the last time I used it) and stripped a couple of the flywheel bolts.

After contemplating the the grinder approach and not looking forward to it I had a brainstorm which has probably been posted here before (but I couldn't find a reference).

A #12 stud extractor (sears) works perfectly on the head of the bolt. There is plenty of room on all sides even if all the adjacent bolts are still in. A couple of light taps with a hammer to get it started and put a socket on it and they were off in seconds.
