Fresh from Germany - 997 caught on the road.

Here's a German Porsche owner who caught a 997 and a 987 (?) with his camera on the Autobahn:

http://www.bcagentur.de/Porsche/

He even recorded some film clips (haven't seen them yet, I'm at work right now). The pics show larger fenders, round headlamps and blinkers moved to the front bumper.

Here a few snapshots of the A7 on which a few nice Porsche pilot lot models on the way were. About the quality of the pictures may be argued gladly, but with a compact family car a reinrassigen sports car to follow, whose driver is paid for it these to heart and kidneys to test, a few coincidentally also present indifferent vehicles to pays attention, a camera ready to be launched to make whatever in the car hiding place as a H4 pear in a Mazda with folding headlights and then still the trip as access-favorably to operate during the Handy rings myself, can believes I as small masterpiece are explained.

The light colored area around the headlights is just disguise tape to make it look like a 996, right?

It's too bad that he didn't get a frontal picture of the boxter though. I'm glad though, just from the rear, it's easy to tell the difference from the boxter and the 997.

Used 996 prices are going to drop like a rock when the 997 comes out.

Used 996 prices have ALREADY dropped like a rock - I guess they'll have to go subterranean!

Nice front fenders. Rear's a little Audi-like though?

I like these headlights MUCH better.

I like the simple, round headlights. Give it some rear fender flares and I'm hooked!

Sweet, I want to pick 1 up in a couple years to use as a daily driver after I get my bachelor's degree.

To me, the nose is still too pointy and there's too much front overhang.

But I'm happy to overlook that since they seem to have restored the beefcake rear flares!

Looks like Porsche has been listening to all the criticisms of the 996's styling. Finally I will be able to tell when a new 911 is coming down the road at me.
