Todd, I admire your moxie, I don't know if I would be able to find the humor that you have in this unfortunate event. Not only for the damage to your car, but the fact someone lost their life. I am sure you will be able to turn this into a positive, as you strike me as that sort. Best of luck.
|
C'mon! C'mon! What's the damage, bartender? :D

I have the number, but I will let our host, Todd be the one to unviel it, it seems only fair, after all.

I'll have to figure out how to split the book :) You can PM or email me with a mailing address. And speaking of a Blopuck Xmas, if anyone wants to download the full length songs for your holiday mp3 gathering and listening, you can get them here: http://nostatic.com/mp3/manger.mp3 http://nostatic.com/mp3/goodKing.mp3 http://nostatic.com/mp3/whatChild.mp3 http://nostatic.com/mp3/weThreeKings.mp3 http://nostatic.com/mp3/silentNight.mp3 http://nostatic.com/mp3/rudolph.mp3 http://nostatic.com/mp3/jingleBells.mp3 ho, ho, ho, and have a Blopuck Xmas. |
Ouch. I'm sure TRE can sort you out w/ all the stuff you need for alot less- upgrades included :)
Isn't lendaddy the closest- @ $87 high? The others are $135 low. |
if you go over, you do not win the showcase ;)
man, i was way low, even with mental health care added in! |
TRE will end up cutting the front off and adding a healthy donor front pan rather than trying to deal with the bent front frame member. Time and budget will tell...

And Max, I assume that you will be present for the Subie exorcism? I believe we will need a C4S to do donuts around the car. mmmm...donuts. |
Your spirits seemed high so I went with a lower figure.
At 12K you do have Spirit of the highest order :) EDIT: Just read your lower est. :) COOL, Dave and the boy's will take care of you ;) |

Ahh, those were the days... |
Ha! The very orthodox jewish folk in my city when I grew up would do this ritual at Yom Kippur time of "gently" rotating a chicken above the head, most just swing a few bucks and give it to charity these days....removes the curse bad year's worth of stuff and puts it on something else....

Saw your car at TRE...
Hey Todd: I stopped by to check out the new alignment/corner balance rack TRE installed. Very cool. Then I saw your car propped up on the old rack: very uncool.
Man, that was a LARGE chunk of concrete? Photos really don't do the damage credit (if such a term could be applied). But I wonder if it were a newer model car that hit the same piece of concrete, if more or less damage would have occurred. Anyway, my suggestion is maybe you might want to put a lightweight spoiler/bumper on it while it's there. Dave's got some pretty trick body parts, car and human (ooops, shouldn't have said that). |
I think the bumper was untouched, so I don't have too much of an excuse to replace it. And anyway, Dave doesn't have any body parts (but a new bumper/spoiler would balance a duck in the back). Tyson on the other hand... When I was dropping off the car, he was mumbling about his freezer and parts.
|
Nah - they were in the trunk of Scruffy. He pulled them out when he saw that the car initially weighed 4,200 pounds.
