While I appreciate your market research and the potential addition of another Porsche aftermarket parts company - I dont think you will find much warmth here.

This free site is provided by a parts distributer, Pelican, and for the most part, our loyalty to this distributor is just about as solid as our loyalty toward the car.

Good luck, though.

what I look for is someone that is smart enough to:

-use the search function

-not abuse the good will of our host

-not ask people to provide free market research for them

I'm especially looking for a company that is savvy enough to understand a community, and not do things that piss off prospective customers.

. . ..
I'd also like to upgrade my old 3.0 SC rod-bolts to those used in the newer 3.2 Carrera motors.

Everybody (pre '89) is wanting that post-89 (964) power-steering upgrade.

hmmm. . .what else? . . .

Look closer genius. Who wrote that post??
my original quote was "what upgrades are you dying to make?"
It was posed as a question. Not a (once again for the people in the back...) C-A-T-E-G-O-R-Y.

why did you erase your first two posts?

I was quoting your message that was quoting Island's message. And in fact I had to fix the pseudo html code because you screwed it up.

I'm glad I'm a genius. It feels good.

I erased the post because it was obvious that I touched a nerve with some people. Why leave it up if its just gonna piss people off? So we can exchange snide remarks with eachother? I thought you were pelicans not vultures. Thanks for the kind words....

so let's see...you want to start a business selling Porsche stuff, so you come on to a very well established community hosted by a major player in the industry and try and pick the brains of the people here to setup your business that will compete with our host. That sound about right?

And you're surprised that you touched a nerve?

Good luck in your business venture...I think you'll need it.

gee, you even erased that your location is "Kent". You must be worried that you screwed up...

"I thought you were pelicans not vultures."
Does this mean you didn't really mean the part about how we were all 'just super' here?
Geeze . . .and so now we won't get whatever you were selling?. . . I'm crushed.

But before you go (and change your user name). . .I'd like to buy a vowel.

If u payed attention I wrote that in no way would my buisness compete with pelican selling new parts. Of course I screwed up, what I didn't realize is that there were people like you who love to take what someone writes and turn it around for your own amusement. It's also obvious that you don't know when to let stuff go, is it really that important to you? So I posted something stupid and erased it get over it.
