Curt, on a side note, have you seen the Jan. issue of 'Sports Car International' ?? it has a new red Carrera GT supercar on the cover.
In this month's 'Serious Collector" section, they interview a fellow who has a lot of old Porsche race cars including....get this... THE 1971 LeMans winning 917!! Unfortunately, the article is quite short. You could probably read the whole thing while in front the the magazine stand at your Barnes and Noble

I think my next 911 will be SWB, flat sides, and steel wheels.

Plus a serious suspension, roll bar, and a few subdued hints that it is a serious performance machine.
