Strange exhaust odor?

My 83' SC has a strange odor coming from the exhaust, it smells like burning plastic, its very subtle but i can notice it. I open the engine lid and you can't smell it in there, thinking something is laying on the engine melting but its fine. The car has 67,000 original miles on it and runs fantastik. I run Mobil One in it and the oil consumption is very low, the only thing i can think of is some chemical in the gas that is causing this, i can't remember where i got gas last but i hope this goes away.

Is there any smoke anywhere? I had a similar hing when I first got my 911s. The master cylinder was too full and the excess fluid was going back under the belly and burning off on the hot block. It had a plastic kind of smell to it. Took off some of the fluid and drove hard for a week with no more smell.
