nice street suspension setup for 69 911

i have a 69 911 (soon to be rsr rep) and im planning on fitting a 3.3 turbo engine. i was thinking of SC Ally trailing arms/brakes and turbo torsion bars at the rear but what about up front?
is it a costly/tricky option to go to coil overs on the back?

21mm tbars work fine up front. If you want to go to 22mm, I'd recommend 27-28mm in back. I "think" coilovers are expensive and probably the route for a dedicated track car. Others here are more knowledgable so take my comments with a grain of salt.

Turbo rear bars are 26mm. A good match with 21mm up front on an early car.

Coilovers are overkill for your intended use, and about 10x the cost of turbo torsion bars.

The 69 is hamstrung by 3.0 bolt spacing for front calipers. To get bigger brakes, you need to upgrade to later struts with 3.5 inch spacing. Then you can go all the way up to 930 brakes with your 15 inchers.

But why bother, for a street car your existing brakes are plenty adequate. Just make sure they are in top shape and have good pads.

I overlooked the bit about turbo engine. my bad.

The factory fitted brakes on 70's turbos that are the same size as yours. So they can't be all that bad.

But since you have S brakes now, you could put 930 brakes on without swapping struts.

well, if you have s calipers you already have the 3.5" bolt spacing...lot's more brake options. Carrera calipers and rotors would be a nice setup.

Oh yeah, and since you have a hefty turbo engine back there I wouldn't do 21/26 torsion bars. Go 19/26 or 21/28
