Take out the pump and lines and plug holes in heads with 10mm plugs with 1-mm thread pitch.

You can buy some "caps" for the cylinders under the car where the air is injected into the cylinders and remove everything else. I dont believe you will need to adjust air/feul but I could be wrong-- I didnt -- you can buy the plugs for cheap I just did it-- have fun.

Just call Pelican in the AM and explain to them what you want. They will hook you up.

Get Mercedes Benz Transmission drain plugs. They are cheap.

After you take the air pump out and dicsonnect the rubber tube that connects to the pipe assembly in the engine compartment, you can leave the air pipes in place. They won't effect the performance at all plugged or unpluged.
Here in CA, we put the air pump in every 2 years for smog, then remove it and run the car 'til the next time without plugging anything and there is no difference in performance. The pipes don't acutally go into the cyclinders. They inject air into the exhust path for some unknown reason. All I can figure, is that it somehow dilutes the exhaust emmisions so it can pass smog inspection.
