Tires

I think overall, the Bridgestone S03 tire is perhaps the most beloved here, but I'm noticing that Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 tire seems to have some good characteristics. Does anyone have experience with this tire?

Are you talking about on the track or on the street. I'm getting ready to put rubber on my 82 SC and was wondering what the best tire for the street would be given I want wet weather road handling. My car is a daily driver.

Mine is a daily driver too, and I live in a rain forest. This Goodyear tire outscores everything generally, and outscores everything in the specific area of wet traction, according to Tire Rack. This is why I'm asking my trusted buddies. The S03 is certainly a safe bet, with excellent wet traction, but if this tire is better, at less cost........

I just opted for S03's as a safe bet. I'm replaceing RE-730's that don't grip well under hard lateral acceleration (3.6 style ). Saw the ratings on tirerack for the Goodyears but don't know of any substantial Pcar experiences. If you go with them, please post your opinion.

Thanks, Mike. Bump. Anyone with a report on these new Goodyears?
