2.4S MFI engine...Can I use 2.2 MFI?
Hi, I'm building a 2.4S engine on a 7R case and 2.2S high-CR p's and c's. Everything else is stock 2.4S. I have found a 2.2S MFI system, will it work? I know the bore is the same on these 2 engines (2.2S and 2.4S), but I was wondering if the 2.4S flowed more fuel. Thanks

Yes, it definitely takes more fuel-- more displacement means more air and more fuel to go with it. Plus you know that the 2.4 makes more power and more power= more heat = more fuel required. As to whether the space cam will work I think the profile has to do with the engine's power curve, which is dictated by the "S" cam profile, with the fuel required (rich/lean) simply being a matter of adjustment.
Why not call Gus and ask him?

I agree. I think that it will work by just adjusting the part throttle adjustment (basically the richer/leaner setting) since the cams are the same. But since a call to Gus is cheap, I'd give him a call.
