Whats this 67 S worth these days...
This is a a nice matching numbers no rust CA early S. Almost all stock. Nice repaint by one of the best in the buisness. The seats are early Scheel bucket seats and flat early Flat MoMo Protipo. The interior is very nice and not redone. Engine is strong with sport exhaust. It has some R group style going on. This car belongs to a friend of mine and is curious what a car like this is really worth on today's market. Experts please chime in. This is a really nice example of a true matching number "S"
Thanks for your input. ![]()

That sounds high for an actual sale figure, but then again, it wouldn't surprise me.
I'm no expert on this either, but who is? It's what someone will pay. |

You might ask on the Early 911S forum too.

I would say that you might apply a good, better, best approach to the car, and maybe come up with the same numbers. At the same time, there are some 67S's that will get higher $$ with more mileage (more than 20K) due to provenance (Bruce Jennings 67S comes to mind, and it's low mileage on top of it) or racing history, options (Sport Kit 1 and 2, sunroof etc.), truly beyond excellent cars that have had a restoration by Gary Emory, Rick Cabell, John Willhoit, and others. Note that both Gary and John have 67S's under restoration right now, and those will be some interesting cars to see. Note that I would put SWBSAM's red 67S in the beyond excellent category.... regards, E

I've seen this car and it's a nice one that's been cared for.
I'd put it at mid to upper 40s. It would be well placed in Cornpanzer's hands (not to mention another sweet S in the midwest). Don't tell me the owner is still toying with the idea of an Italian mistress??

Dave,
you can crash in my basement while you look for a new place to live. It would look great next to the 70 though!

I will find out the milage, I know it is fairly low.
No sunroof model. I thought the seats, vintage Simpson harness, duel out exhaust, and stripes give it some R Groupe style, no? By the way the owner is kicking around the ideal of a vintage Lotus Esprit say 77-80 model. Yes I know, having owned a 77 Esprit I know the horror storries very well-I lived them! Anyone know of a mint 77 S1 or 78 S2 for sale?
