Got Lucky
The other day I had a need for speed, so the Black
930 got the nod. I started the car and noticed the battery light was on. Thinking it must be fan belt, I popped the tail. The motor running at about 1200 RPM, the fan turning about 200 RPM. I took the Lexus to work. As you might guess the pully pin was sheared off in the crank. Needless to say I was not ready to face this little job. After taking everything apart, the pin was sheared off about a 1/16" below the surface of the crank. I was ready for an all out knock down diamond tiped extraction. The pin was in tight and not moving. My first shot was a diamond tip bit in small high speed drill, after about 30 sec. I noticed the pin looked like it was spinning. Not thinking it would ever work, I stuck a magnet up to it and "bam" the magnet pulled it out!!!! Everything's back together and life is good, got lucky this time!!

Sweet, glad to hear everything came out alright. That sort of thing can be a real pain.
