I think you are correct.

I believe you are incorrect. Normally there are a turn signal and a side marker at each corner on US cars. On euro cars, there is only a turn signal (your picture on the right)-one per side... and the side maker area is covered. There is a seperate side marker located elsewhere on the fender. I think you are looking for clear US turn signal and side marker lenses to replace yours, only clear.

The parts in the picture looked to me like they were both different. I thought one was a marker and one was a turn signal.

Don't think so. Just a bad picture angle I believe. It was discussed in an earlier thread. Unless something has changed, Wayne has sourced the parts you are looking for, but they are not in his catalog. You need to call and make sure you get the right thing. I will try to find the thread.

im soooo confused now

The clear side marker lights I have have a smooth inside texture- no light refracting pattern. There may be other types out there though. I haven't fitted them yet, as I don't have amber bulbs (the bulbs are different from the turn signal bulbs). Maybe I should keep the clear bulbs anyway come to think of it. I can't see too many problems from running clear side markers?

ubiquity....Not unless a cop that is sick of ricers with white lights decides to pick on you. They would certainly stand out because they would be fairly bright without the reflective pattern. A lot of the parts stores have little caps to put over the regular bulbs for color change to accomodate the riceboys. That would probably work for now.
autocross...Just call PP and talk to them about what you are trying to do. |
