Most common theads-2003 (some humor)

After reading the thread "Unlikely Forum Posts of 2003" and after many X-mas eve drinks, I did a quick, stream of consciousness list of most common threads of 2003. Towards the end, I took some artistic license and added a little humor. Anyway, virtually everyone will have participated in one of these threads (including me!), so don't take it personally. Here's the list (in no particular order); what did I leave out?

1. Questions re:/check out my 3.6 liter transplant!

2. Please run a carfax on this 911.

3. The A versus B threads: SC vs. Carrera/915 vs. G50/ 944 vs. 911, etc.

4. The "you already know the answer" threads: Can't downshift into 1st. Swepco did not help. Do I need to rebuild my 915?

5. Wayne: Does Pelican carry this part?

6. Which is the best radar detector?

7. Check out this ricer on ebay.

8. Testing out new format-Wayne.

9. Check out this rust-free '73 S!

10. Help! Car won't start!

11. Photos of engine drop.

12. Targa leak.:(

13. 944 Owner: Which 911 to buy?

14. Show us your [insert here].

15. PPI results: Should I walk?

16. Best set up for autox?

17. Question re: MFI.

[Now's where the booze really kicks in]:

18. SCWDP: Carrera owners are *worse* than Sadaam!

19. Motor Meister: Worse than Sadaam and worse than even Carrera owners.

20. Diverting motorsport money into the Cayanne was a great idea! Cayenne is beautiful! The new V6 Cayenne is even a better idea!

Anyway, it's 6:30 a.m. on X-mas morning. Time to get some sleep.

God, I hate it when that happens! ;)

What was the story on that again, Island? Broken water pipe is I guess the obvious answer. Funny thing is, once those cars were thawed out I'll bet they were fine. I saw that happen to a fire truck in Mpls. once, big warehouse fire downtown on a windy, 35deg. below zero night, (and no, I'm not talking windchill factor which can be -100 or colder in MN.). I have some cool pictures of another ice/fire in Minneapolis somewhere, if I can find them I'll post one.
