removed O2 sensor, need plug for hole

Running PMO's and SSI's on my '84 Carrera. Would rather have a nice looking pipe plug in place of my old O2 sensor which doesn't do anything anymore. The guys at the best nut and bolt store in town just shook their head at me. Anyone have something like that or know where I can get one? TIA

I got a steel plug from Home Depot that fit just perfectly. Actually, I've found that Home Depot carries a ton of stuff that is automotively applicable... you just have to be a little creative. It's called a pipe plug or something like that. Bring your O2 sensor with you if you can... I'm sure someone with an orange vest can help you.

Have you tried an old spark plug? Believe it may be the same thread size.

Go to any good muffler shop. They will have the plugs for about $2.
