Thanks T-Bird.

I took a few artsy pics of the car the other day after I polished and waxed with my new Porter Cable random orbital polisher.

Here's a few -

Nice work. What do I ask for when I go to the nearest boat supply store?

They were nylon trim pieces that hold on canvas. Square heads - push in fastners. I had to grind down the fasterns a little with my dremel - but the nylon was strong enough for me to screw them in from there.

Sand the top of the square head... two coats of touch up paint, spray coat of clear, and viola! Cost me all of $2.60 $1.99 for the clear coat at the auto parts place, .30 a piece for the plugs - already had the touch up paint!

Cool

Initative like this will show up later in the projects you will be willing to take on in the future. This is an example of what makes this board rock!

From neat touches to RSR retros, this board represents a depth of knowledge and invovement guts you just don't find anywhere else on a daily basis.

Jeremy,
Very nice, clean work. I too did a similar (tho' not as nice as yours) bumper plug replacement by painting the bolts that fit into the holes, after removing the license plate bracket. Yours look much cleaner. May have to stop by my local boat store to get some also. Thanks.
