Another Al Reed Success Story

I picked up my "new" 16x8s and my old 16x7s from Al Reed yesterday and I damn near shed a tear...they're so beautiful. Unfortunately, my wife wouldn't let me sleep in the garage last night so I had to part with them for a few hours. I went with polished lips and paddles with black centers and polished center caps. I had seen his work in person and in photos, but it's just different when it's your own pride and joy. It's been said here time and again, but I'll say it anyway, "Al Reed (and his wife) are AMAZING!!!" I'll try to post pics later.

They don't have a web site, I don't think they even have a computer.
Do a search here for Al Reed, the phone number has been posted many times.
No connection, just a very satisfied customer.

Al Reed did the anodizing and polishing of the wheels on my car.

I get many compliments about them.

You can't go wrong.

When I went to Al Reed they took my wheels off and replaced them with some ratty loaner fuchs until mine were done, free of charge.

There is nothing wrong with the loaners except they are a little dirty and the tires may or not be a matching set. I wouldn't want to do a DE on them but for regular driving they are fine.

Drive in, wait, drive out. can't beat it.

I have a quick question. How come, all of the Fuch`s i see on this site have their valve stem`s on the outer rim( Like the picture above), when my valve stem is actualy up in the triangle type slot.

911SC Pilot,

Got a pic? That would help us determine your anomaly.

Happy Holidays!

Those wheels aren't Fuchs, they're fuch-alikes.

Sorry, couldn't resist. Someone must have stole the real ones and put them on their Karmann Ghia.
