Question RSR front bumper / valance clearance ??

I am going to add a RSR (Rennspeed) front bumper / valance to my '87 911, and one of our fellow Pelicanheads brought up the point of ground clearance for street use. So those of you running RSR style front bumpers;
How much clearance do you have between the ground and spoiler lip/edge?
How is this clearance on the street?
Has your ride height been lowered? And if so how much?

BTW- Outstand board!!! As a newbie, a simple search of the archives answers 99.999% of my questions. I've found probably 100+ very good postings just on installing the RSR bumper / valance (and oil cooler) with a simple search. Thanks for all the great posts, in the past and future.....

Re: RSR front bumper / valance clearance ??

Not a perfect pic, but you get some idea. When parking, the bumper will hit ALL curbs and those concrete parking lot barriers. You just have to remember to park back from the curb. My car is not lowered.

RSR front bumper / valance

Moses,
How about driveway dips, etc, are "most" manageable? I figure to watch out for the curbs and stoppers, but I will still need to navigate driveways, and speedbumps.

Thom,
I get the idea, 'mine' is so low I have to watch out for blades of grass!

Thanks,

No problem with driveways, etc. There is a local gas station that has a dramatic dip between road surface and driveway, but if I enter slowly there is no problem. I entered fast once and whacked the bottom pretty hard. No cracks or damage!
