Unleaded Fuel Only Sticker

My 82 911SC has that little sticker next to the gas fill on the front hood that says "unleaded fuel only". I know it was original to the car, but there is a slight notch on the corner of it and it is bothering me. I really want to either remove it or replace it with a new one. What do most people do?

I think I removed mine around 1981 or so. About the same time I knocked out the fuel pump nozzle restrictor in the filling tube.

Mine was removed when I bought the car. However Since it had been on the car so long and the paint was considerably faded it left a nice rectangle that didnt even come close to matching the surrounding paint. Whats funny is that you could still read what the sticker said on the paint of the car. Id leave it on unless your paint is in really good shape or you plan on touching up the area to match the rest of the car.

Thanks

Anybody know where to get a new one? Don't think Pelican sells them.

1) Check with your local Porsche Dealer. I couldn't find it in PET but you never know.
2) I reproduced a engine sticker for my engine with my digital camera and name tag sheet (sticky back) from Office Depot. You can't even tell that it is not original. Amazing what a digital camera, computer, and color printer can do.

I've seen a couple SC's where you can still read the 'unleaded fuel only' in the paint. Its pretty funny.
