exterior mirror question
Can one buy the little metal clips that hold the mirror glass to the metal backing plate on the driver side exterior mirror? Or do they only come with a new piece of glass? It's an '84 Carerra with power mirrors equipped with electric defrost. TIA

I just replaced a mirror and if you need a clip, I'll send you one. Also, there is a plastic sleeve that fits in the metal backing portion in each hole that the clip slides into. Make sure they are there.

None of the 3 holes in my backing plate have plastic sleeves in them so if you have 3 of them and one clip I'd gladly buy them from you. thanks, Kie
