Sport seat question 74'-77'
I know some of you guys have the mid year sport seats out there. The ones that look like the tombstone type but with the extra wide side supports.
If someone could just slide there seat back and take a picture of the slider where it bolts to the floor bracket it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

That looks like a stock seat to me.
Sport seats have bolsters that are about double the size of those in the picture.

Those are sport seats that are in that Pic above. I'm looking for some in that vintage for my car, 74-early 80's, manual. Sat in some a couple of weeks ago, great fit!

They bolt in the same as the nonsport seats.
911 nut...those are indeed the midyear sport seats. The picture angle does not do the bolsters justice. You can tell they are the mid-year ones because the seat-back angle is adjusted by a lever (like early 911 seats) and not a knob.

The pic I took are too big to post. I'm sure I can email them if you want to PM me with your info. Tim

Hi Tim,
I emailed GeorgeK since he had a pair and he helped me out. Thanks for going to the trouble. I was basically trying to source parts for some 73' sport seats that are proving very difficult to get parts for.

Clinton,
That's the part and it's not interchangeable with 73'. Jon, The 74'-80' sport seat is the one I was talking about. The seat recliner brackets are the same as the early car sport seat but evidently the sliders are different. Thanks
