anyone have install instructions for Performance Air A/C
I have an early 911 that I need to put a/c in and I was wondering if anyone had a detailed post or url I could check out? Cost estimates?

Everything I see from them is great. I have a old set of the under dash vents and the underbody condensor. Still working with other issues on the car so have not gotten them hooked up nor working but the quaility is very nice.

Performance Aire: http://www.scottsind.com/
Griffiths: http://www.griffiths.com/ I put in a Performance Aire kit in 1987 with the belly condensor and left rear quarter condensor. Works well when fully charged, but leaks thru non-barrier hose now after one season. I'm going to upgrade with barrier hose. Might be under-condensed, but that is a longer topic. Griffiths puts out a good product. See the Seeptember and October (I think) issues of Excellence magazine for a two-part article on a Griffiths conversion from factory stock in a late SC. Get in touch with both. They will fill your mailbox with info and prices. |
thanks!
