Yeah!!!!! I just got back in from a nice long drive in the "S". Went out into the country and opened her up a little.
Came across this interesting house while I was out. Brings a whole new definition to the term "moving sale"!!

Well we comfort ourselves with the thought that our neighborhood is not likely to burst into flames during the dry season like yours is

Everything is relative. It is going to be a "freezing" low 60's kinda day in LA. I see everyone wearing jackets and scarfs......

Cool Col wave today-64 plus

Cornpanzer,

Nice house, kinda a "fixer" but it would give you something to do during the frigid winter months. Gotta go my neighborhood just burst into flames after the earthquake.

I drive mine almost everyday...even in the snow at times. We have been lucky here in Germany as we have had very little snow this winter, maybe 2" total. So is Eric out tearing up the streets?

Nice day here in the DC area. Took the targa to work since traffic is light. I was hoping to get out a bit early and exercise it but that's not going to happen.

Porsche Crest 7 degrees!

We got hit this weekend by a cold air mass and high winds, and when I started the Porsche this morning, my thermometer outside read 7 degrees!

It took a couple of starts to get it to run smooth, but then I used my hand throttle to let it warm up for about 10 minutes, and away I went. It ran fine and the temp stayed very low on the whole drive, less than 180 degrees! It did not pump out very much heat either, but I was fine with a leather jacket.

Our weatherman ran a comparison this morning showing how we were colder than almost anywhere in the states! One small town just north of here read minus 3 degrees, and it was only minus 1 degree in Fairbanks Alaska, with a breeze on top of that too here. Brrrrrrrrrr brrrr-

Colder than Germany too huh Smitty?!?!?

It's much nicer right now, about 40!

The weather in Detroit has been in the mid to high 40's the past two days, and I've been tempted to take Helga out for a drive, but there's salt all over the place and I won't take a 30 year old car out when there's salt on the roads. I did take advantage of the warm weather and started my winter projects since my garage isn't heated (yet). I envy you guys who are able to drive year-round!
