Show me your 911 today!

Well, it's a rainy New Year's Eve here in Victoria but I decided to brave the tin-worm and photograph my cars anyway!

Here's the shot:

Show me a picture of your car taken today, in storage or not!

It's been a while since I've washed her....

On a side note, I got to feel the effects of ZERO control this morning on the way to work. Packed snow through the neighborhood to the main drag. Last little downhill before the stop light at the main drag was a sheet of wet ice. Down shifted into 1st in time but any braking was useless. Managed to avoid the only other vehicle on the road and all curbs. Yes, she ended up A$$ backwards...the slide was very slow and controlable (yeah, right...I was lucky at best)...never the less it was, shall we say, a puckering experience.

First, Happy New Year. Those cars are beautiful! I know I'm anal, I try not to take mine out in the rain, I have trouble bringing myself to wash it! I guess due to the fact that I've spent the last 25 years fixing rust on the P cars I've owned. So here's a pic from today. Regards to all.

Jack,

That is disgusting. Far to clean and nice. See above post for the "daily NW driver look".

I use the 911S daily and always look back at it after parking it, and admire its good looks... funny though, when I pull the car cover off of the 912, the 911 starts to look a little gawky. Those long hoods sure are pretty.

That's not a brake light -- it's a little promotion for a Pelicanite's company:

No A/C, no Sun Roof, no power windows. Fast and light, just the way I like it. (Sad to say, it's sold. But at least it remains with us on this board.)
