What Hawk Blue pads for 78SC
I have a set of Hawk blue front pads that I bought earlier this year for when the Pagid Orange pads give out. What Hawk Blue rear pad should I be using in my stock SC calipers? Is it the same as for a Carrera?

No one uses Hawk blue pads on the track in their SC?

go to the hawk website and find out.....I believe they are the same size as 84-89 Carrera......they have charts there that specify part number.
Try the Hawk black pads, they may be better than blues.
