How can I find out what part # 964.731.901.00 is? (Aero Mirror Kit)
Is there some kind of online porsche part locator where I can type in an exact porsche part # (ex: 964.731.901.00), and get back a name, description, and possibly a picture?
Tried typing 964.731.901.00 in Pelican Catalog, but I get the Aero Mirror Kit. I believe the part I am looking for is related....some kind of harness. Wanted more info on it. Basically, thinking about installing an Aero Mirror Kit on a 79sc. Anyone done this to an SC/ early Carrera? According to what I've heard, because my 79sc is prior to 1987, I need to get a harness, which is part # 964.731.901.00. Can anyone confirm/deny? Also, do I need to modify the doors at all? Drill new holes? Also, anyone know if the Pelican Aero Mirror Kit already brings this harness? There's a pic of the kit here: http://www.pelicanparts.com/catalog/images/exterior_trim/aero_mirror_upgrade.JPG but I'm not sure what the harness looks like. ![]() Thanks! jam Last edited by jam; 01-05-2004 at 06:39 AM.. |

jam, 964.731.901.00 is the entire electric aero kit, .02 is the manual kit.

Got it. Think I was a little confused with all the numbers. Rick, your threads helped me understand also. Thanks.
I was hoping to pick up this kit. Although it's pretty pricey. Hopefully I can find a good deal. jam |
