				Would you buy this?

This was posted on the Pelican Classifieds for Sale: http://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/classifieds/classifieds.cgi?search_and_display_db_button=on&db_id=2131&query=retrieval The body is badly damaged and the engine and tranny have been removed (as well as the seats and other stuff). Would anyone buy this heap? (I'm sorry if I've offended the person who posted this, but for the price that's being asked, a person could buy an early 70's 911 in good working order.) - Bill

uhhh, them porsches aint cheap. specially the newer ones. doesn't myselfsound like his price is out of line to me. FWIW: I doubt the same guy interested in this would also be looking for an early. I've got three early 911 and I get sick to see the guys that take an early car and apply new body kits to make it look like a newer car. at least w/ this rolling (but wrecked) chasis somebody can spare a nice 72 coupe. maybe I'm not being clear. been down the block at the mexican food joint suckin' margaritas :-) but consider as some have suggested, what are the wheels worth? the brakes, teh suspension etc. if there is little frame damage.... | ||

I am from Cleveland and noticed this wreck up for auction on Ebay at least once maybe twice and no one has gone for it. Just my two cent. Thats how we say it in Cleveland. "Two Cent" If this was a great deal at the asking price, whether for the parts or to rebuild, you would think after being auctioned off to the entire world on Ebay someone might have bought it. As Brawlins stated in the first post I do not intend to offend the seller or take any momentum away from his sale. Just my TWO CENT.
