Anyone purchased and installed their seats from the group buy yet? If yes, please post some pics and your comments on the seats! I'm still on the fence on either the A4's or the TRS seats. Thank you!

I'll be blowing my wad in the next couple of days. I am getting another FX1 seat, two 5pt harnesses and brackets. If you are getting a seat that can use side mount brackets, be sure to purchase them, otherwise your seat will be too high with the sliders and you won't have clearance for either a helmet or big hair...
The FX1 seems like a nice and well built seat and it's comfortable too. Linda at Apex has been terrific to work with and has gone the extra mile to answer questions and ensure I am happy. -B

I ordered the samething Brad is getting (Except I'm getting wides) last Tuesday, I should receive them this Monday. It will take a couple weeks to get them installed because I am also installing a roll bar, new dash, visors, RS plush carpet kit & door panels, & backdate my window regulators. I will post pics when I'm done.

I installed the Wide CR-1 seats a few weeks ago. The quality is good. They sit a tad higher than the stock seats. They attract lint big time. over all I like them. The seats with a 6pt harness take some getting use to. Craig

My Recaro SRD's are cloth and lint magnets as well. Quite easy to vacuum up though.

What would be a good seat if you wanted to lower the driving position? I have SRD's right now, and I'd like to get lower.

fixed buckets would tend to sit lower....why not just mod your bracket if possible.....?

I have a Corbeau adjustable in my car, pretty happy with it. I made a bracket that basically sits 1/4" above the seat mounts in the car. It's fixed, but I can easily drill holes to move it fore/aft if I want. No good if you want to keep the adjustability though.

I found the Corbeau Forza bottom mount setup to be very easy to lower (and position rearward) by building custom brackets that still utilize the stock seat mounting rails. A couple pieces of angle iron and bar stock, some welding and drilling, and I had a bracket for $60 that sat me 1-1/2" lower and 2" back and still maintains the Corbeau sliders for fore and aft adjustment. For a tall guy, this is pretty essential in obtaining a good driving position.

"RS plush"--isn't that an oxymoron?
