911 fuel line
Help,
Former owner spliced new fuel line fitting (banjo) at the fuel pump. It is now leaking and I want to replace the whole line all the way back to the engine. Has anyone replaced this line. Is it possible without puting the car on a lift? Thanks Dan |

cant you just get two new crush washers? mine has a banjo there too. it would really clear things up, if you let us in on the year of your car and what fuel delivery system you have.

Put the car on jackstands as high as you can get them.
Unhook the hose at the engine end. Get everything pulled out of the way. Now in the front. Cut the 90 degree bend off the old line. Securely tape the new line to the old. Then go to the rear and start pulling it thru. Slowly. Giving it a little twist at times to get the tape thru the guides that the fuel line sits in, in the tunnel. Easy deal. The hardest part is getting the bushings back on the fuel line at both ends. Good Luck
