Where does the Intercompressor go?
 

I'm a new 911 (1988) owner and the car I bought was missing its toolkit and compressor.

I scored a compressor on Ebay, but I can't for the life of me figure out where it is supposed to fit!

The obvious place by the spare is taken up with some kind of ventilation fan.

Is there a secret spot to store the compressor?

I don't think there is a "spot" for it. It just sits in the front trunk, on top of the carpet. That's where I put mine, anyway.
