Pics of the completed job: Oil cooler notch
Check these out! It isn't as deep as I would have liked but this was the easiest way to do it and if I still requires some more cooling I can always run some hosing out the back and into the wheel wells.
![]() ![]() I didn't do it myself, had one of the guys in the shope help me out. I was a litle concerned when they refered to him as 'The Butcher' but I was really impressed with the work that he did. Adam

Oh boy, does that ring a bell...
BTW the exact same spot was rusted on my car. When it came back from the dipping, we cleaned the hole to a nice rectangular shape and welded in a formed plate. ![]() |
