79/80SC Fuel Pump Diff ??
Is there a difference between the 1979 911SC fuel pump and a 1980 911SC? Pelican parts does not show a check valve for the 77-79 Fuel Pump. How does this change the operation of the CIS?

I have an 80SC and the fuel pump has an internal check valve. When I was having hot start problems I troubleshot it down to the internal check valve. I ended up putting an external check valve on the pump to Fix the hot start problem I was having. If you buy the external valve make sure you also buy the added hardware to adapt to the original banjo fuel line fitting.
