Getting rid of the 912

I just posted my 912 for sale on Pelican and wanted some feedback ....
I recently bought a '77 911 targa and do not have the room to store both vehicles. I think this is a real opportunity for someone that is just getting into the Porsche world at an extremely reasonable price($5500). Your thoughts...

I just sold a 67 912 that was about 95% restored for $7500. They are great cars! Good luck papi, David

Thanks for the feedback, gentlemen. Regarding 1973911s's question: Do I have a PM? Sorry for my ignorance; what is a PM?

They tend to top out around 7500 as very nice drivers, from what I can see on the local market. I think your price is in line. I'd love to get one and make it go fast. There is a guy in the northbay with a dark 912 that screams. I think he might have spent serious money on the engine, but it scares the heck out of any 914 in the AX.

Do you happen to know who that guy is with the serious fast dark 912? I am working on a seriously fast 912 and I would love you pick his brain.

-Britain

By the way, where can I get more pictures of the 912 for sale?

Britain:

Sorry, he was at a Redwood region AX last year. I don't know his name or any details. Maybe you can find him through the Redwood region webage, asking the club folks there!

Papi,

You may also wish to post here

Schmuck69

There is a true gentleman that has a 912 screamer who occassionally posts at the above board. He was referenced in a thread on the New Years Day TRE run... John Benton...

Good Luck to both of you,

Bob

They're a great group of Porsche enthusiasts (SP ck?). Members are always looking to add another P car to their inventory...

Bob
