New Yorker magazine now tests cars?
Well - not really. If anyone read the Jan 12th issue, there is a piece about SUV safety. They tested the Trailblazer against a Boxster, and came away with the Boxster being a much safer car in a variety of on-track circumstances. (near Lime Rock, I think).
It's not as much amazing that the Boxster is safer than an SUV as much as it is the New Yorker can adequately test cars; the writer seemed to know what he was doing and the editor knew how to edit the content. Not too bad for an "upscale literary/arts magazine" like theirs.
