What the heck did I dod?
 

Well, I finally got around to removing the leaking front oil cooler.

So afterwards, I looked at installing the rest of the heating duct tubes. It's winter here, sort of. I couldn't find my aerospace heater hose, so I only hooked up the plastic tube which runs from the engine fan to the electric blower.

Since I didn't have the rest of the heat tubes to hook up, I blocked the plastic tube with a wad of shop towels. I wanted to maximize the cooling air over the engine and the oil cooler, without the front cooler.

so...NOW THE CARS PULLS OFF THE LINE BETTER !?!

What the heck is going on? The distributor is right in the same area. I also moved around a couple of vaccuum lines when I had to install 6mm screw to hold the plastic air tube in place.

This is not psycological. It really seems to pull better below 4000 RPM.

Any guesses?

My guess is that one or more of the vacuum lines you moved is or was not sealing completely and moving it allowed for a complete seal. You must have had a partial vacuum leak.

Yeah, I think I'm getting a periodic vaccuum leak.

Engine is a 3.0SC. The thing seems to pull like it should. I'm guessing I wasn't getting the vaccuum advance I should.
