Floor pan?
Not sure where to post this--Cars for Sale or OT--but since it's on this board I'll start here.
Looks like the under car photo shows a partial floor pan replacement. I've never seen such a seam gap/separation before. The only reason I bring it up is because the description stresses originality, and the seller seems to be upfront and honest. Is it possible that it is the original floor? Have any of you seen pan separation like that? The car looks nice, but the early offers apparently fell through and the car is on ebay. Could this be part of the reason? Larry ![]() |

Is this the pic you are refering to:
![]() If so I think it looks pretty normal. There is a shadow that makes it look a little off but I think it is just a shadow. |

Rich76_911,
Yeah, that's the photo. I recognize the shadow, but I never noticed the alignment on my cars or photos of other cars. What really drew my attention is the apparent misalignment around the center tunnel area. Again, maybe this is just the perspective of the camera angle. Just looked odd to me. Larry

Just did an experiment--shined a stong light at an angle along the floor pan, and got the same effect. It made the slightly lower area of the rear of the pan seem to have a sharp edge, and looking from an angle, the two areas (front and rear ) look misaligned.
Looks like a great car, and a fair deal. Larry
