Well I missed the porsche version of the victory by design series. I have been looking for it on speed aka nascar channel.

They keep showing everything but the porsche.
On sunday Feb 1 they are showing all 6 of the series and also the making of the victory by design.

I believe the first one starts at 6 pm est.

That alain de cadenet has a really tough job, don't you think?

This is coming up this Sunday. A good alternative to the Super Bowl.

I have the virctory by design on DVD. It was one of my Xmas wish list items. It is a great addition to my collection of Porsche stuff.

I saw the show, and it was great. The intro has a high drool factor with films clips of several different cars. I'm getting the DVD with DTS 5.1 surround sound so I can make the neighbors think I have a car inside my house.

How is the VBD DVD? How long does it run? Longer than the TV version? Is it worth the $$ (subjective I know)

My wife got me the ALFA DVD for Christmas. :D

It is awesome. The surround sound is great. I'm not sure how the Porsche DVD would compare. Most of the Porsche footage seems to be older. The alfa footage was almost all new.

I would like to hear the Jag DVD in surround sound. The V12 prototype would be fantastic...

After looking at the VBD site again I saw that the Porsche DVD is 76 min. plus 22 min of "The making of..." so it would be longer than the TV version.
I've ordered it, we'll see how good it is.
The Jag and Aston Martin TV vers. were great I thought, haven't seen the others yet.
