Carfax report

I'm interested in a 911 that's for sale in the West coast but not sure about the history on the car. Can anyone run a Carfax report on VIN # WP0AC2994VS375278?

Thank you!

Ok, I ran it on Autocheck.com. Same thing. One thing I don't understand is why some cars don't have a record for several years. An example is this car that you're looking at. It has the last smog check, but what about the two others that it MUST have had? Anybody?

VIN WP0AC2994VS375278 1997 Porsche 911 Carrera 2
Event Date Event Location Odometer Reading Data Source Event Detail
12/12/96 PASADENA, CA MOTOR VEHICLE DEPT. REGISTRATION EVENT/RENEWAL

12/22/96 PASADENA, CA 40 MOTOR VEHICLE DEPT. TITLE

07/26/01 CA 42,543 STATE AGENCY PASSED EMISSION INSPECTION

So, it goes from 40 miles then no entries to 42K miles and 5 years later? Do some smog stations not report??? I've never understood that.

Ohh, by the way, no records found for milage tampering, accidents etc. Looks clean.

No A/C, no Sun Roof, no power windows. Fast and light, just the way I like it. (Sad to say, it's sold. But at least it remains with us on this board.)
