speed bleeders
I just purchased some speed bleeders for all my calipers. I have never used them, or heard anything from those who use them.
They seem like a great idea. Any input.

i think they will work great! i had a crafty friend that made up a one way valve with the spraybottle nozzle from some armor all and a rubber band. it took one level of human error out of the equation.
"can i let up on the pedal yet?" "yes,.... keep your foot on the pedal!"

speed bleeders rock. If you just bought your's, did you get the bleeder bag? A couple of months ago I bought bleeders for two bikes and two cars prior to doing a fluid change on all of them. The speed bleeders cut the time in half, and the free bags (included with orders over $50) were totally painless. I'll never use anything else.

I bought the speed bleeders and the pressure bleeding system at the same time. Getting both was good but for just air bubble removal, speed bleeders are all thats needed. I wanted to completely replace fluid, and the pressure system from PP is great for that. I did note that if the pressure dropped below about 8 psi on the pressure bleeder's guage, the fluid did not flow from the speed bleeder valves. Master cyl pressure under breaking is way over that, so when you pump the brake, fluid will go out at he open ez-bleeder (but air will not go in). I think the ez-bleeder screws are a lot more practical and usefull for a one-man brake bleeding event.

Speedbleeders are one of those things that I start thinking of WHILE I'm bleeding the brakes...my wife pushing the pedal, me holding the 8mm flare wrench. "Wouldn't it be great if I had them?" Then I forget all about them, until next time.
Where did you get them? Up! Down! Up! Down! Doh! You're up? I didn't say up! ![]()

I purchased them through Paragon, But haven't received them yet, In the past I have used the mighty vac, which has always been a huge mess and hassle to deal with. I have two bleeders per caliper and saw this as a great way to not only bleed the brakes but maybe a way relieve pressure to allow easy push back of the pistons when changing pads.

I used them on my last brake job - lines/calipers/pads/rotors/bearings.
Fastest ever pressurizing and bleeding. These are definitely one of the products when you look back you ask yourself why you didn't do it sooner - and save yourself (and your significant other) in the long run. I have a spare set for when I do the rears.

Pelican carries speed bleeders for less than I paid from Paragon. Now I feel bad because I try to support our host with my purchases, some how I skipped over them because ive been looking at rotors and pads.

I've had speed bleeders for about 1yr now.
They are the way to go!!! Makes bleeding at the track a breeze. They also work great with a power bleeder.

I have had them for a couple of years. Had to bleed my system twice now. New MC once and new Bilsteen inserts the second time (needed to disconect the line to get more clearence).
I love 'em. Just be sure that the hose stays connected while you're pumping away on the peddle. It's cool to be able to do it alone, but you don't have anybody to tell you that the hose popped off and it's "peeing" all over the fender well and strut. Ask me how I know. ![]()
