Any Right Hand Drive PCARs around in the US

I have been a lurker on this board for over 12 months so hi all.

With the Aussie dollar around 78 US cents the viability of shipping a US car to OZ is now becomming a very real option. (If not for one major sticking point - the LHD/RHD thing).

I was wondering if any RHD cars make there way to the US in any numbers?

The interesting thing is that an average to OK SC (79 - 82) will go for around $30kUSD in OZ, these cars will generally have 60k + miles on them.

An average to OK 964 with 70 miles will go for around $45 to $50k US

So looking at the prices of the US cars particularly ones from the enthusiasts (Pelicanites!)seem to be a very inexpensive in comparison.

If you wanted to compare some prices - pop onto www.carpoint.com.au to have a look at the 911's.

So my question really is , Are there any RHD sources in the US for 911s? (West coast would be better - I am asking too much, but hey if you dont ask you'll never know)

cheers

Shane
desperately seeking

i doubt it that you'll see much RHD's 911's anywhere outside UK or OZ

Japan or India don't seem like P countries and normal people generally don't like to drive on the right side of the road with a RHD car.

A RHD Porsche in the US would be good for delivering the mail REALLY FAST. But that's what we have FedEx for...

Aren't 30 year old cars exempt from the RHD requirement down there? Get a 964 powered 74.......
