Cool! Free Porsche

I got an email from Pelican letting me know that I have a free webcertificate for a Boxter 1/43 model (with a purchase of $35). How cool is that? Anyone else get something like this?

The email states that winners are selected randomly from the customer base at Pelican. I was just wondering how long it's been going on for and what the biggest prize is that they're giving away (or that someone's won). I think they mentioned the smallest was a keychain (albite still pretty sweet).

Just another little pat on the back for our boys at Pelican!

i am waiting to get another 10% discount one. i got one already and i didnt maximize it, i bought caliper rebuild kits and rubber hoses. zeesh! next time i may jump on a floor jack or SSI and mufflers. YEA!

Yup, the computer is totally random, so that people aren't guessing or holding back, etc. We want to say thank you, but we don't want to be predictable (like PerfProd, whose multiple sales per year arrived as many times as the electric bill).

So far, the response has been good, although (ironic to me) that some people are peeved when they place a $2500 order, and get a coupon for a $5 keychain.
