I assume you mean car stereo? NOW audio/video is good. I bought my home theater from them. They carry high end stuff. Custom High Fi too. Honestly i had my last 2 stereos installed at the local Circuit City.

James, Are you inquiring for a purchase or repair? If for a purchase, then "what Paul said". If for a repair, then try Audio Video Repair Center in Kernersville. They're an authorized repair center for many brands and I've used them several times over the past few years with no problems.

thanks guys. a friend of mine has a 280SL which does not have a natural location for a stereo. What I'd like is a shop that can do a mild custom install job with proper attention to not hacking up a valuable car. Keith, does AVR do installs?

Thx

James

Not that I'm aware of. And if it were me, I wouldn't want to have a place like CC attempt a 'custom installation' even though I have used them in the past for vehicles that I wasn't real picky about. I don't know of anyone who's REALLY into car audio, but I'll ask around and see if I can come up with a lead for ya...

James, one of the guys here at work recommended NOW Audio (I didn't even know they did car installations). As Paul stated earlier, they sell some nice 'premium' audio equipment, so that's something in their favor. I'll keep asking as I know a couple other folks who might suggestions.
