Turbo Library Build
My current project is an '86 930 motor, and as always, the current problem is that it would not start. (as a side note, I just finished checking 2 wires: one has intermittent spark and the other would not produce any; will finish checking the rest tonight). In the meantime.......
Although the Board would not let me search "no spark", I have paid my dues by reading a LOT of threads. I have been exposed to the areas of DME relay, head temp sensor, CIS, motronic, sensors, etc. As of today, I am a little bit more knowledgeable and confused per my reading. Questions: 1. The '86 930 is CIS, right? (I think my Wayne's book says it is). 2. DME relay does not apply since it is a CIS? 3. Timing/Throttle sensors also do not apply? I have both Wayne's books, Carrera Bentley manual, and Hayne's. 4. Is there a Bentley for 930's? 5. Instead of the expensive Porsche's, is there a good book for the 930? 6. CD's? Thanks! |

Forgot to add the question:
Is there a Turbo Board which is more active than Pelican? p.s., I have 2 911's so I am still loyal here. |

There is no Bentley for the 930 exclusively.
Other than factory manuals I haven't seen any specific to this car. Stuff like this: Microfiche: BE on the lookout for these manuals:
